This workshop was created for a general audience who wish to better organize their files and free up space on their computers and devices. The presentation is an hour or so and goes over general concepts like file naming, folders, ways to view and sort files, space-saving tips, and email organization. The presentation is necessarily broad and covers both Mac and Windows operating systems, as well as mobile devices, with the intention of a second hour being devoted to individual work time for participants to put the concepts covered into practice, with help from the facilitator. Recommended workshop size is no more than 10 participants, unless additional facilitators can be found for the work-time portion.
This program was presented by Hannah Cyrus at the Blue Hill Public Library. She is the Assistant Director at the Blue Hill Public Library in Blue Hill, ME.
